Wizard Joe
Funny, heartfelt animated stories about belonging, courage, and seeing things differently. We built the character, the world, the production pipeline, and the site that carries it.

What it is
Wizard Joe is a curious wizard with rainbow wings, a generous heart, and a habit of finding adventure in everyday things. The stories are short, funny, and heartfelt: a giant who apologizes for taking up space, the smallest voice in the room that already knows the answer, three friends and a cardboard dragon learning the difference between "what if" and "yes, I’ll do it." A little magic. A new way to see.
Why we made it
Most of what we build is tools for other people. Wizard Joe is the project that keeps us honest about the other half of the job: understanding people. Every episode starts with a feeling everyone recognizes, like not fitting in, or not being heard, and turns it into something a kid can laugh at and an adult can sit with. It is also our proving ground for what a very small team can produce when it directs AI well.
What we did
- Created the character, the supporting cast, and the visual world.
- Wrote and produced animated shorts and full episodes with an AI-assisted production pipeline we built and run ourselves.
- Designed and built wizardjoe.com: story pages, a Meet Joe section, and an email list for new releases.
- Set up and run the YouTube channel and social accounts, with a publishing cadence we can actually keep.
What it proves
Two people can run an animation studio, a publishing operation, and a brand if the tooling is right and the taste is human. That is the same bet we make on every client project.
